About us

We are now looking for summer substitutes for our lovely group home in Bankeryd, just outside Jönköping. In the group homes, there are residents aged 18 and over who are covered by LSS person group 1, meaning individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions.

About the position

As a residential support worker, you will work with individuals who need support with their daily living. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing individual support, care, and service interventions

• Planning and conducting activities with the client

• Carrying out delegated health and medical tasks

Who are you?

As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating. The position of residential support worker also requires patience, flexibility, and responsiveness. Employment conditions

Working hours are varied: days, evenings, weekends, sleeping on-call, or awake nights.

The summer substitutes will be employed during weeks 25-32 with the possibility of continued hourly employment.

We apply individual salary setting and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

For this position, you are required to:

• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as documentation is a significant part of the job

• Have a B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience from similar work

• Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, or behavioral scientist

• Knowledge in low-arousal approaches, clarifying pedagogy
